Urban Safari: Exploring a Neighborhood in Bloom invites young people to step outside and discover the natural world growing right in their own backyard. Through guided outdoor exploration, students develop observation skills, curiosity, and a deeper connection to the environment around them — all while building pride in the neighborhood they call home.

Research consistently shows that outdoor learning improves focus, creativity, and academic engagement. But beyond the science, there is something powerful about a child who sees their neighborhood not as something to escape, but as something worth exploring, protecting, and investing in. That is the seed we are planting.
